How long will it take to get a Resume? Cover Letter? 


Within 24 hours of receiving your message, a HireUp Consulting representative will get back to you. Additionally, prospective and ongoing customers can schedule a consultation for phone support or video conferencing.

Please anticipate the first copy of the resume or cover letter with all the necessary information submitted in two to three days. Second, a final copy of the document is created after the client has had a chance to review the changes, which usually takes 2-3 days. The time it takes to turn things around depends entirely on how occupied we are.

Please notify the designated representative within 24 hours of contact if you require expedited services. Additional excursion charges of $70 (48 hours) to $120 will be charged (24-hour turnaround).

What is the process for writing services? What happens after I place my order? 


HireUp will assign an experienced writer or career strategist to work with the client.

After contacting HireUp, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire about your career goals. We will ask you to share your most recent resume or give information to write one from scratch. We will then match your resume to a writer that knows your industry. The client and the writer will be connected to allow access to discussion or share additional documents.

How do I get started on receiving services?

If I need revisions at a later time, what is the policy? 


After services are completed, HireUp gives one free revision for up to 6 months.

Revision includes changing the last name, and contact information, adding one new job, and adding education details.

What are the qualifications of the writers / strategists representing HireUp Consulting?


Like the founder of HireUp Consulting, Nicole Fortner, all writers and career strategists have direct experience with resume writing, expert knowledge of current job market trends, and job placement / HR background.

Does HireUp Consulting write Curriculum Vitae (CV)?

What is included in the LinkedIn Profile Creation? LinkedIn Optimization service?


The writer will create a keyword optimized and effective biography for you. If you have any great accomplishments from previous positions, you can mention them in the professional experience section. Your writer will assist you with that as well, if needed.

The assigned writer will provide all the suggested recommendations and data in a shared document to allow the client to upload the data on their LinkedIn profile. Please allow for a 5-7 business day turnaround on this service.

How will I share my information with HireUp?


As of the current process, all communication will be with Nicole Fortner; founder of HireUp. Communication and sharing can be done by phone or email. Please reach out to her directly at nicole@hireupconsult.com

What format will my documents be sent?


Documents are sent as PDFs and DocX formats. DocX can be formatted by the client if using Microsoft Word. If you prefer documents to be sent GoogleDoc, please let us know.













Will I have the ability to communication / collaborate on services with the assigned writer and/or strategist?


Once you purchase services, you will then be assigned a writer and career strategist to complete your document(s). At that point, you will be able to email your set expert at that time for the project's duration. Yes, clients can collaborate.

Will my assigned writer do a rewrite of my resume / cover letter, if I don’t like it?


Clients will have a rewrite opportunity within 3 days after receiving the final draft. This will require the client to notify the writer in writing in that 3-day window and provide specifics of changes desired. The writer will do their best to accommodate the client according to HireUp writing policy and guidelines.

Can I get a refund on services?


Our consulting agency does not issue refunds for any services rendered.

We are confident in our ability to craft a compelling resume; some things are out of our control.

However, HireUp will make an exception for refunds if services are not supplied in 7 business days. Clients must provide the request for a refund in writing.
